CurtisKidby - 40 Acres
A match made in Americana: local guitar legend, Steve J Curtis has been working with our own Bob Kidby on an album, 40 Acres, released in May 2026 on our Stupid Music label. Now available in all the e-shops (Spotify, Itunes etc). All original songs.

A recent review of the album said:".....this is homegrown country music at its very best. Songs reliably surge with country authenticity, mixing a convincing blend of old-style country with hints of western swing, honky-tonk and bluegrass. Along the way, you could easily be mistaken into thinking that this must come from the heartlands of America; some lost recordings from a circa 1970s Nashville studio. In fact, it was recorded in the rural wilds of deepest Suffolk, proving once and for all that great music comes from the soul and not from a geographical location...."

Younger Than Yesterday - The 1960s Project
With over 30 songs in the final stages of production, this has been a massive joint project by Neil Murray and Stupid Music's Bob Kidby. These are all original songs recorded on the best analogue equipment in homage to the greatest sounds from the 1960s. What could be better!
The world premiere gig launching the project took place at the famous Water Rats music venue, near Kings Cross in London.

Rhumba Club

The Vagaband
Completely original and fabulous eclectic band from East Anglia.
We worked with the Vagaband to record their 4th album; this included working with them on the song that accompanied the 2021 census campaign. See link below:

Bob Kidby

Kalon
We welcomed German indie rock band, Kalon with producer, Richard Flack to record 8 tracks for a forthcoming release. This is what they said:

Guranfoe
Excellent instrumental prog-rock outfit from Norwich who worked with us to overdub keyboards and do some reamping. This album was the follow up to their successful Sum of Erda album.
Clare Free
We recorded Clare's 3rd album Where Are You Now?
